Mussoorie- the queen of hills

Mussoorie is Located 35 kilometres from Dehradun. This  place is also known as the gateway to the “Gangotri and “Yamunotri” shrines. The best time to visit the place is between mid-March to mid-November as the rains during monsoons and cold during the winters make it pretty inaccessible. Kempty Falls:-

It is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,364 meters above sea level, thus giving it a wonderful surrounding to just sit and listen to the sound of the water which falls on the rocky bed of the water below among the lush green vicinity.

Kempty Fall is located at 15 k.m from Mussoorie. Kempty Fall is accessible by own car, taxi and local bus which is easily available at taxi stand of Mall Road at Mussorrie. Kempty fall is always open during the day time from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM for tourist and it famous for Waterfalls, Photography,Picnic and  visiting water park.Best time to visit Kempty fall is June to October in summer season.

Lal Tibba :-

It is excellent location to see peaks of Gangotri and Yamunotri and must visit to Rakeby Manor for lunchit is exactly 6km from Library chowk, Mussoorie. Going from Dehradun/Rishikesh , first reach mussoorie by Bus and then go to Lal tibba. But honestly its not worth it to travel that far because its a very small place you can hardly spend 30 -60 mins there and click some pictures may be have some food at the roof top restaurants.

Mussoorie Lake:-

Located at 6 kilometres on the Mussoorie-Dehradun road, the lake was recently developed as a picnic spot by the city board and the Mussoorie Dehradun Development authority. Mussoorie Lake is famous for picnic spot, Boat riding and Shop for souvenirs.

The Mall road is like the life-line of Mussoorie with almost everything located. Be it attractions, hotels, restaurants, shops – The Mall houses them all.Mall road is famous for shopping and tourist attractions.
